Quotex AI Trading Analyzer

Settings & data connection

A real data source is required. Keep credentials on the server, never in your browser.

Connect Twelve Data

Regular Forex OHLC · 1m, 5m, 15m · optional volume · no Quotex OTC feed

  1. 1

    Get your provider API key

Create a Twelve Data account and select a plan with Forex intraday time-series access. Review its rate limits, daily credits, data licensing, and permission to use this data in your app.

  2. 2

    Add a backend secret

In this project’s Secrets panel, add TWELVE_DATA_API_KEY with your provider key. Do not paste a key into a frontend file, a CSV, or the key-value store. The server function reads it securely.

  3. 3

Sign in as the app owner

Market API calls are server-protected using the platform’s owner identity. Sign in with the same account that owns this project, then check the connection and refresh a Forex market.

  4. 4

    Choose a safe refresh policy

Auto-refresh is off by default and requests every 120 seconds when enabled. Responses are cached for 120 seconds per asset/timeframe; different-market requests are limited to one per 15 seconds per active server instance. This is not a global distributed quota. Stop refresh if your provider allowance is reached.

Owner sign-in required

The provider’s Forex feed is independent of Quotex. A connected response does not verify the broker’s market session, execution price, or tradability. Volume is shown only if supplied by the source.

Import your OHLC dataset

Analyze a real historical CSV locally. Select its matching Forex asset and timeframe on the Market screen before importing. The file stays in this browser session and never becomes a live feed.

Required columns: time (or timestamp / datetime), open, high, low, close. Volume is optional. Time must be Unix seconds/milliseconds or an ISO timestamp with Z / UTC offset, representing the candle-open time. Rows must align to the selected interval. Exact duplicates are removed; conflicting duplicates or invalid ranges are rejected. OTC imports are disabled because broker-feed provenance cannot be verified here.

Calculation & safety validation

Deterministic math fixtures are tests only. They never populate the market chart.

Wilder RSI reference

Known 14-period seed: 70.464135.

EMA seed and recurrence

SMA seed 2; EMA at fifth value 4.

MACD constant series

Constant input yields zero MACD and signal.

MACD linear reference

A unit-slope series gives MACD 7 and signal 7 with SMA seeds.

RSI boundary cases

Flat / rising / falling inputs return 50 / 100 / 0.

No look-ahead analysis

Appending future candles cannot change a past signal.

Incomplete candle excluded

Only candles whose interval has finished are available.

Missing candles → WAIT

Gap in the recent 80-bar window blocks predictions.

Insufficient data → WAIT

Warm-up requires 80 completed bars.

Stale prices → WAIT

Freshness cutoff is two candle intervals after latest close.

OTC / API error / disconnect → WAIT

Data-state blocking reasons override all indicators.

Deduplication and chronological order

Identical timestamps are deduplicated before charting.

Conflicting duplicate rejected

Different OHLC values at one timestamp are invalid.

Invalid OHLC rejected

High cannot be below close or open.

Unresolved outcome stays separate

No later completed quote means no win or loss.

Multi-indicator directional fixture

Alternating rising fixture aligns EMA, positive MACD, RSI band, and non-doji structure.

Backtest prefix stability

Requires real fixture entries; future bars cannot modify earlier entries or direction.

Settlement expiry and costs

A price move smaller than costs loses; an unfinished expiry candle cannot settle.

18 / 18 local checks pass. These validate calculations and logic, not trading profitability, real provider availability, or production authentication. Error-state checks verify signal blocking; they do not perform a provider outage test.

Safety & storage

Authentication uses the platform’s built-in sign-in. Owner authorization is checked on the server, not inferred from email, browser state, or a visitor-selected role.

Signals, paper observations, and saved assumptions use the built-in key-value store with private per-account scope. Imports and backtests stay in memory unless exported. A relational database is a Pro feature; upgrade for a managed database or connect your own Supabase project for free from the Database panel.
